A couple of months back a photographer friend of mine Kat Hill, asked if I could design some paper goods for an engagement shoot she was doing. I love working with Kat, have a look at the Town Hall Photoshoot we worked on together for more examples of her gorgeous photography, so I was keen to be involved. The shoot was to take place is Paris in February for the engagement of the stunning Martina and Lesley, and I’m delighted to say that the shoot has just been featured on the American wedding blog Style Me Pretty.
If you’re not already familiar with the awe inspiring blog you’re in for a treat. Filled to the brim with wonderful real wedding and engagement shoots, and DIY projects its a great source of inspiration.
Kat is great, she’s keen for me to let my creative juices flow, her only brief was that she wanted an old fashioned looking rail ticket, and that she liked combinations of fonts.
Printed on kraft paper with a detachable strip at the bottom (for the Conductor to keep), this is a simple yet eye catching design that harks at a bygone era.
You can check out the whole shoot on the Destination section of Style Me Pretty
If this has got your creative juices flowing and you’re planning wedding abroad please do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you kateruthromey (@) gmail.com
